Engineers Without Borders - Malawi
As a technical lead for spring 2025, I will lead 10-20 undergraduate engineers in designing and fabricating data measurement and analysis devices for water catchment systems and hand washing stations for installation in Makwelani, Malawi. We will also be developing an interface to measure the efficiency of our systems and detect failures within them. In the fall of 2024, I collaborated with the team to design, manufacture, and program a 3D-printed load cell which we will scale for monitoring water levels in a water supply system in Malawi. I also assisted in the design and implementation of an automated water irrigation system for Tufts' campus greenhouse and helped optimize water usage using Arduino, sensors, and relay-based control systems.
