Pull Up Bar Finite Element Analysis

The goal of the project was to theoretically determine the normal stress and deflection of a pull up bar being subjected to a concentrated load in the middle. We then compared the results to the ones found through our SolidWorks FEA of the same bar. We strengthened our understanding of superposition and the flexure formula, as well as how normal stress and deflection change under load.
